OBJECTIVE:
This client challenged us with helping him break-away from the “old way” of doing business. He was bored with the “status quo” and was looking for a new and better way of doing business that would bring back the excitement. He was asking for help not just in the advertising and marketing areas for his dealership, but in a total new way of conducting business.
STRATEGY:
- New Customer First creative covers all areas, from advertising to marketing to point-of-sale. Our new logo and slogan are being branded throughout the dealerships and in all advertising messages.
- Our new Customer First way of doing business fits right in with a brand new Honda facility opened in August of ’03 and a completely remodeled GM store opened in late Summer ’04.
- Ongoing training was conducted in order to make sure our personnel were a part of the Customer First campaign and “walking the talk” throughout the dealership.
RESULTS:
Total dealership operations continue to increase, as witnessed by Koons being the fastest growing Honda dealer in the marketplace as well as the largest Buick-Pontiac-GMC store. We are now focusing on our used car business, which has increased over 50% in the past several months. Fixed operations also continue to improve as this dealership saw an overall increase in net profits for the last two years.
