Our Team - Media Department

KAREN STACY, Media Director

Karen has been with the agency since 2000. She has worked in advertising, marketing, sales promotion and media for three decades. As our media director, Karen is responsible for planning, negotiating and placing all media buys, as well as post-buy analysis for all broadcast schedules. Karen is trained in using today’s latest computerized survey and results tools including TAPSCAN & TVSCAN to provide the most effective and efficient media plans and buys.

LINDA PONDER, Media Planner/Buyer

Linda joined the agency in May 2007, bringing with her a wealth of over 20 years experience in automotive media research, planning and placement. She was previously the Vice President and Media Director at Martin Advertising and directed all media placement for GM dealers and associations in over 130 markets throughout the country. Linda is a natural fit in our agency with her customer-focused, service-oriented philosophy. Together, Linda and Karen comprise the best automotive media team in the country, bar none!

JAN BYARS, Advertising Account Coordinator

Jan joined Wheeler Advertising in 1989 as a secretary - receptionist. She now works as Harris’ assistant and is responsible for overseeing all co-op applications, traffic for broadcast media, proofreading and serves as liaison between clients, outside vendors and agency departments to coordinate efficient and timely advertisement processing.

LUCY THRAILKILL, Bookkeeper

Lucy joined the agency in 2002. She brings over 30 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting to the job. Lucy treats our clients’ budgets as if they were hers and makes sure they get what they paid for. With Lucy, every dollar is accounted for.

LIZ CROSBY, Administrative Assistant

Liz is the friendly, welcoming voice you usually hear when you call Wheeler AutoMarketing. Liz brings numerous talents and experience and is responsible for ad proofing, duplication of presentation materials, and the production and distribution of media schedules and budgets. A graduate of The University of Alabama, she majored in Advertising.
